Behind the book
Laura Roberts, a passionate artist, embarked on a remarkable journey to bring her creative vision to life through the creation of the "Pearl and Penny Paper Doll Coloring and Activity Book." Born with an innate artistic flair, Laura's love for art and design has been a constant presence in her life since childhood.
Growing up, Laura has always found solace and joy in her artistic pursuits. Her fascination with paper dolls, in particular, started at a young age when she would spend hours meticulously crafting her own unique paper doll characters and outfits. This early fascination with paper dolls laid the foundation for what would later be her magnum opus.
As the years passed, Laura honed her artistic skills, attending an art school during her middle school years and throughout high school experimented with various mediums. But, other wise being completely self taught.
Laura finally came back to her idea's of creating her own paper doll line and came up with "Pearl and Penny Paper Doll." She poured her heart and soul into every page, meticulously designing intricate outfits, characters, and backgrounds that would both captivate children and adults alike. Each page of the book is a testament to Laura's dedication to preserving the timeless art of paper dolls.
